Seeing the headline of the recent medical article on Canadian doctors performing pelvic exams on unconscious surgery patients without their consent broke something loose in my brain. The non-consensual part seemed to be the trigger.

Apparently, the universe thinks it's time for me to make more sense of what I went through when I had my son.
